Key Responsibilities- Delegate tasks effectively and oversee the work of occupational therapy assistants and technicians.
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations, as well as professional standards.
- Maintain continuous communication with hospital departments to ensure the needs of patients, staff, and the facility are met.
- CPR certification is preferred, unless otherwise mandated by hospital policy.
- Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or one deemed substantially equivalent to a U.S. program.
- Proven competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
