Job Description
Our organization is currently looking for a skilled gynecological pathologist to join our central Anatomic Pathology Services team. This practice serves the Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, as well as the Queens borough of New York City. Our central facility supports the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, which features a comprehensive Surgical Oncology program, and the North Shore University Hospital, both integral parts of our extensive 28-hospital health system.
In 2025, our gynecological pathology department handled over 27,000 cases, including approximately 24,000 biopsies and more than 3,000 complex cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert diagnostic services in gynecological pathology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Engage in educational activities and contribute to the training of medical professionals.
- Subspecialty training in Gynecological Pathology is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attending pathologist is preferred; however, fellowship-trained new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- A strong academic background and a commitment to education are highly valued.

The full-time clinical base salary at our organization ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, influenced by various factors such as specialty, experience level, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity. This salary range represents a good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
