Nurse Practitioner, ARNP or Physician Assistant, PA-C

Full Time Position

\n

Team Collaboration:

\n

Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, dietitians, physical therapists, and mental health experts, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care in the following areas:

\n

Exercise Programs: Monitor personalized exercise plans to enhance cardiovascular health, insulin sensitivity, and weight management.

\n

Nutritional Guidance: Collaborate with dietitians to create tailored dietary plans that address individual metabolic needs.

\n

Mental Health Support: Partner with mental health professionals to support patients in managing stress, anxiety, and other psychological factors. ongoing support and motivation.

\n

Knowledge and Skills Required:

\n

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, parents and hospital medical staff

\n

Enthusiastic team player

\n

Willingness to learn Flexible, adaptable to change

\n

Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in developing personalized care plans.

Schedule Details:

\n

Outpatient Schedule: Monday-Friday

\n

Hours: 8 AM 5 PM

\n

Open to flex schedules that include weekends, 4-10hour shifts, and extended hours

\n

Campus: AH Orlando

\n

Required Education/Experience:

\n

Masters degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies

\n

Preferred in metabolic health, surgical optimization, cardiology or related fields.

\n

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

\n

Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license or ability to obtain

\n

ANCC, AANP or NCCPA certification required.

\n

Current BLS and ACLS

\n
