IU Health is seeking a patient-focused General Oncologist to join our clinical practice in the Indianapolis area.

  • Full-time employment opportunity for adult, general oncology patients
  • \n
  • 100% clinical
  • \n
  • 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient
  • \n
  • Monday - Friday with 12 weekends of call annually
  • \n
  • Expected patient volume in clinic: 40/week
  • \n
  • Team includes 8 physicians and 2 APPs
  • \n
  • Practice locations include CICC Methodist, CICC Fishers, CICC East, and Schwarz Cancer Center
  • \n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan
    \n • Oversee the interdisciplinary team and residents/ medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties
    \n • Provide medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services
    \n • Participate in clinical research projects of interest in cooperation with the medical research department

  • Must be BE/BC in Oncology

  • Indiana license or willingness to obtain
  • \n
  • Open to practicing providers or current fellows
  • \n
