\n \nAsthe Medical Director, you'll keep doing what you love - practicing veterinarymedicine. But you'll also provide vital medical leadership, oversee theveterinary team, and cultivate an environment where exceptional pet carethrives. You'll develop medical protocols, mentor colleagues, and collaboratewith the practice manager on finances, budgeting, and operational optimization.

YourQualifications:

- DVM degree froman accredited university and an active state license \n
- Minimum of 5years experience in a GP animal hospital \n
- Commitment to practicing world-class veterinarymedicine \n
- Skillful abilityto delegate, develop, and inspire a winning team \n

Compensation:
\n- \n
- \n \n Base salary of $125,000-$150,000 DOE \n\n
- \n \n Production-based bonuses \n\n
- \n \n Sign-on bonus of up to $30,000\n\n
Frederick is the 2nd largest city in thestate of Maryland and one of the fastest growing cities in the DC metro area.The downtown area is packed with charm including civil war museums, MarylandSchool for the Deaf, row houses, quaint one-of-a-kind shops, local eateries,micro-breweries, and local distilleries that are mostly pet-friendly. Outsideof downtown is a large military base, Fort Detrick. Just outside the cityproper, but still within Frederick County, you can find rolling hills,wineries, orchards and a strong agricultural presence. You can also hike partthe Appalachian Trail. Frederick is part of the Baltimore-WashingtonMetropolitan Area - located less than one hour from Washington, D.C.,Baltimore, and about 45 minutes away from Gettysburg, PA. Frederick considersitself the city where hip meets historic every day.
