Seize an exciting opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students in a vibrant educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers a dynamic and varied caseload, working across 2-4 schools and engaging with elementary, middle, and high school students. With 35 hours guaranteed and potential to increase to 40 hours per week, you’ll have ample opportunity to build relationships and create meaningful change in students’ lives.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience within school settings preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and goal implementation
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple schools and age groups
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for student development and holistic care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver group and one-on-one therapy to students according to IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Provide consultation and support for staff on sensory and motor strategies
- Travel between 2-4 local schools (mileage reimbursements apply if applicable to agency policy)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed
