School Speech Language Pathologist - Sonoma, California

You will have the opportunity to work either at one or two sites, depending on preference and experience, with caseloads that include Special Day Classes—ranging from middle school to post-secondary, as well as a Mild-Moderate program spanning grades TK to 5.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid SLP certification/license in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience as a school-based SLP strongly preferred
• Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring techniques for diverse student populations
• Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams and families
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with Special Day Classes and intensive/mild-mod student profiles is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to students identified with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
• Support students in Special Day Class settings as well as Mild-Moderate programs, focusing on both intensive and developing communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and additional staff to deliver comprehensive support
• Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings
• Serve as a resource to families, educators, and administrators regarding speech and language development
