West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. This full-time university-based position is located in Morgantown, WV.

Position Overview

\n

We seek a dedicated clinicianeducator to join our growing team at the WVU Eye Institute and WVU Medicine Childrens Hospital. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in the continued expansion of our academic mission.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive clinical care in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus
\n

\n

\n
• Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
\n

\n

\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and orthoptists
\n

\n

\n
• Engage in academic and scholarly activities as desired
\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
\n

\n

\n
• Eligibility for West Virginia medical licensure
\n

\n

\n
• Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency
\n

\n

\n
• Completion of a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship
\n

\n

\n
• Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
\n

\n

\n
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
\n
