OB/GYN Physician
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated OB/GYN to become part of our well-established and thriving practice, which has been serving the community for over 25 years. This opening arises as one of our long-standing partners transitions to be closer to family. Currently, our team consists of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs). The incoming physician will benefit from an existing patient base that has seen significant growth in recent years.
We are equipped with three in-house ultrasound machines and a team of highly skilled sonographers. To enhance both clinician and patient experiences, we offer a variety of in-office procedures, which have been expanding recently.
Practice OverviewOur practice caters not only to Durango, which has a population of approximately 20,000, but also to the broader Four Corners region. Our patient base extends from diverse rural communities across Southwest Colorado, Northern New Mexico, and Southeastern Utah. We operate within a regional medical center that is connected to our medical office building, as well as an outpatient surgery center. Our facilities include 12 labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) rooms, a dedicated c-section room, and we conduct around 700 deliveries each year. Additionally, we provide support for a skilled midwifery practice. The hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology for minimally invasive surgeries, including the latest Da Vinci robotic system. We offer comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including high-risk obstetrics, and support a level 2 nursery with perinatology services.
Due to our sustained growth, we are excited to announce the construction of a new medical office building in collaboration with two partner practices. This new location will allow us to expand our capabilities and services for our patients in the coming year!
