Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial machine operation and process control and a proven ability to follow standardized work, make basic machine adjustments, and meet production and quality targets.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repetitive machine or process operations per prescribed routines.
• Follow directions and perform basic adjustments to processes or machinery.
• Operate manufacturing equipment, including Block Room Operator equipment.
• Record and report production numbers accurately and timely.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effective communication in one-on-one and group situations.
• Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability.
• Basic math skills and solid interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of and compliance with all safety guidelines.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Steel-toed shoes required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with production reporting and basic machine troubleshooting.

Work Environment & Physical Conditions:

• Exposure to industrial conditions including noise, dust, heat, or cold.
• No routine lifting over 50 lbs required.
• No forklift, tractor, vehicle, or manlift operation required.
