Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A certified pharmacy technician opportunity is available supporting sterile compounding operations in a dynamic pharmacy serving infusion and specialty patients. This contract-to-hire role offers stability and the chance to grow within the team, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications under licensed pharmacist supervision following USP <797> and <800> standards.
  • Maintain strict aseptic technique and cleanroom protocols.
  • Accurately perform pharmacy calculations and compound medications.
  • Assist with labeling, packaging, and shipment of infusion therapies.
  • Maintain compounding logs, batch records, and quality documentation.
  • Monitor inventory, support ordering processes, and manage product rotation.
  • Maintain cleanroom equipment and participate in environmental monitoring.
  • Support medication order processing and prescription fulfillment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA, OSHA, and internal policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement, and ongoing training.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) preferred.
  • Minimum of one year sterile compounding experience in hospital, oncology, home infusion, or similar settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sterile environment.
  • Proficient with pharmacy management systems and strong communication skills.
