Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services within a welcoming, student-focused environment near Lake Stevens, WA. This position spans the school year from September 2, 2026, to June 15, 2026, supporting Pre-K through Elementary students across three schools. As part of a collaborative team, you'll play a vital role in the growth and well-being of diverse learners by planning, implementing, and continuously enhancing OT interventions and programs as well as contributing to the development of IEPs.

What You'll Need:

  • Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility for certification)
  • Understanding of implicit bias, culturally responsive teaching, and anti-racist practices
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches and providing social, emotional, and behavioral support at varying tiers
  • Strong knowledge of child development, diverse learning styles, and racial equity
  • Insight into district, state, and federal regulations related to confidentiality, school records, mandated reporting, and Special Education
  • Willingness to train, or current training in, restraint and aversive intervention practices

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT assessments and direct services for students in Pre-K to Elementary settings
  • Collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school program planning
  • Participate in ongoing program improvement and professional development activities
  • Build relationships with students, staff, and families to foster a positive, inclusive educational environment
  • Maintain thorough records and uphold all relevant legal and ethical standards
