Job Summary

Im working with several very stable General Contractor in South Florida who are seeking an experienced Superintendent - Healthcare Projects to lead field operations for healthcare construction projects in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on construction leader with experience managing work in hospitals, medical facilities, clinics, surgical spaces, and occupied healthcare environments.

This role offers the opportunity to join a stable contractor with an active healthcare project pipeline, supportive leadership, and long-term career growth potential. The team values safety, quality, communication, accountability, and strong collaboration between field teams, project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and healthcare facility representatives.

The ideal candidate will be confident coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, maintaining infection-control standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day field operations for healthcare construction projects across South Florida.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and project schedules to maintain progress and quality.
- Lead daily site meetings, communicate project updates, and resolve field issues in partnership with project teams.
- Oversee work within active or occupied healthcare environments while minimizing disruption to facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, inspections, healthcare construction requirements, and infection-control protocols.
- Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final completion requirements.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $115,000 to $150,000 per year based on experience.
- Job type: Direct hire, full-time.
- Location: Miami / Fort Lauderdale, FL.
