Academic Pediatric Anesthesiologist
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist to become a part of our dedicated team within the Department of Anesthesiology. This division specializes in pediatric anesthesiology, delivering care to around 11,000 children across diverse clinical environments, including:
- Operating rooms in children's hospitals
- Interventional cardiology and radiology
- MRI and CT scan facilities
- Radiation oncology
- Gastrointestinal suites
Our pediatric cardiac anesthesia team handles over 200 intricate cardiac procedures annually, which includes heart transplants. We also have a well-established fellowship training program for pediatric anesthesiology, complemented by a strong residency program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anesthetic care to pediatric patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various clinical settings
- Participate in educational programs for residents and fellows
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
