RN - MedSurg, Ortho, Nights

Location: Athens, GA

Department: Med Surg 5 - Orthopedics

Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Incentives: Sign-on bonus available

Specialty Differential: Med Surg Specialty Differential offered

As a Staff Nurse, you will be:

• Delivering nursing care to patients across all age groups, from infancy to the elderly.
• Utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Adhering to the organization's policies and procedures while demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
• Maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Note: Patient-to-nurse ratios may vary based on factors such as patient volume and acuity. Special circumstances may necessitate adjustments to these ratios.

Minimum Education Required:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Minimum Experience Required:

• New graduates from nursing programs are encouraged to apply.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess a NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification is mandatory.

Additional Qualifications:

• For PRN roles: One year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Advanced certification in your specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
• Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is advantageous.
