Pharmacy Technician | Eastpointe, Michigan

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks experienced pharmacy technicians for a contract position based in Eastpointe, Michigan, running from ASAP through the end of the year with potential for extension. The role involves primarily labeling, packing, and shipping prescriptions, without data entry responsibilities. Candidates should be ready to start promptly, with a willingness to learn the Frameworks software system on the job.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and label prescriptions, including long-term care (LTC) packaging such as multi-dose punch cards and pouch packaging
• Operate packaging equipment and complete production runs accurately and on schedule
• Check in and reconcile cycle medication exchanges from facilities
• Process returned medications and apply credits
• Receive daily wholesaler orders, stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain proper stock levels
• Pull products, scan NDCs, and stage completed work for pharmacist final verification
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment to ensure on-time medication delivery

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Michigan
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician
• Experience in a closed-door pharmacy or LTC setting preferred but not required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to learn new software systems quickly; no prior Frameworks experience necessary
