Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ physical development in a vibrant educational setting near North Lakewood, WA. Work within a close-knit campus setting, providing physical therapy support across a diverse Pre-K through 12th-grade caseload. This role comprises 16 hours weekly with a flexible schedule, allowing you to tailor your hours in a way that best fits your life and the needs of your students. Assignment dates span from September 2, 2026, through June 15, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ motor and physical development for IEP and 504 planning.
  • Develop individualized therapy schedules and deliver direct, indirect, and consultative PT services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize student support.
  • Serve students across five schools situated conveniently on a single campus in a small district setting.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate as a Physical Therapist, or eligibility for certification.
  • In-depth understanding of current PT best practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Preferred: Experience working with multilingual and culturally diverse student populations, teaching background, familiarity with public-school settings, and a valid Washington State driver’s license.
