In this role, you'll work with a small group—just four students in 2nd and 3rd grade—ensuring they have the individualized support and instruction they deserve. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-8 students
- Ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in designing lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration with families and faculty
- Proactive, creative, and passionate about special education
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction aligned with IEP goals to a caseload of four students
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff
- Track and document student progress using data-driven strategies
- Foster an inclusive, patient learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth and needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development
