Job Opportunity: Travel Physical Therapist
We are currently looking for a travel Physical Therapist to join our team in Urbana, Illinois.

- Assess and treat patients across all age groups, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Act as a role model in providing professional services and serve as a clinical resource for colleagues and students.
- Perform patient transfers with assistance when required, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics.
- Show respect and empathy towards patients and colleagues, maintaining engagement with those in need of services.
- Create individualized care plans that encompass treatment goals, outcomes, and discharge strategies.
- Modify treatment based on patient feedback and current evidence.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other healthcare professionals using effective teaching techniques.
- Evaluate clinical findings to establish physical therapy diagnoses and assess treatment outcomes.
- Conduct examinations using reliable and valid methods tailored to the patient's primary concerns.
- Document all procedures in line with the Clinical Process Policy.
- Screen patients to assess the necessity and effectiveness of therapy services.
- Utilize support staff in accordance with legal and ethical standards, providing oversight and feedback.
- Evaluate and implement intervention strategies that address both functional and emotional needs of patients and their families.
- Adapt approaches based on patient behavior and performance.
- Employ standardized outcome measures consistently to accurately reflect functional performance.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians as per regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with the medical team regarding patient performance, status changes, and discharge recommendations.
Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Qualifications-
Required Skills & Experience:
- Physical Therapy expertise
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory.

Licensure:
- Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
