\nHartford HealthCares Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with training and/or interest in Preventive Cardiology. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in-patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting.
\nPosition Details and Requirements:
\nConduct comprehensive cardiovascular risk assessments and managing risk factors for cardiovascular disease
\nDevelop tailored treatment strategies based on patient specific risk factors
\nWillingness to learn about management of LDL Apheresis
\nGenetic counseling for familial history of early onset heart disease
\nCollaborate with primary care and multiple specialists and ancillary service providers to coordinate care
\nNBCL certification and/or obesity management is encouraged but not required
\nBoard eligible or board certified in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and lipid management

BC/BE in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and lipid management
