Dermatologist - Clinical Educator
Job Description
The Division of Dermatology within the Department of Medicine is inviting applications for full-time clinician educators in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. We are looking for candidates at the ranks of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and full Professor to join our academic community across various campus and community practices specializing in medical dermatology.

- Santa Barbara
- Ventura
- Calabasas
- Westwood
- Santa Monica
- Burbank
- Century City
- Encino
- Pasadena
- Redondo Beach
- Santa Clarita
- Thousand Oaks
- Torrance
We are particularly interested in faculty candidates who are dedicated to establishing a long-term career in academic medical dermatology. These roles are designed for individuals who seek ongoing academic involvement rather than temporary positions. Therefore, they are not suitable for those looking for short-term medical dermatology roles prior to entering ACGME fellowship training (such as Mohs surgery or dermatopathology fellowship).
Key Responsibilities- Provide a minimum of 32 hours per week of direct patient care.
- Supervise and mentor trainees.
- Contribute to academic activities and research.
- Must be board certified by the American Board of Dermatology or board eligible to take the exam.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice in medical dermatology.
- Graduation from an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency program.
