Job Description
Soliant is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a school district near Morro Bay, California for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time opportunity for a behavior-focused professional who enjoys turning assessment data into practical strategies that help students thrive in the classroom.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with behavioral assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration with school teams. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with educators and support staff to create consistent, effective behavioral supports for students with a variety of needs.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations
- Review student records, observations, and behavioral data to identify areas of concern
- Develop individualized behavior intervention strategies based on assessment findings
- Create, monitor, and update Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Track student progress and use data to determine whether interventions are effective
- Train and coach teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school personnel on behavior strategies
- Consult with families and multidisciplinary team members regarding student behavior
- Participate in IEP and student support meetings when appropriate
- Provide recommendations for positive behavior supports, classroom strategies, and environmental modifications
- Promote consistency in behavioral interventions across classroom and school settings
What We're Looking For
- Current BCBA certification through the BACB
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Behavior Science, or a related field
- Experience conducting FBAs and developing behavior intervention plans
- Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral intervention practices
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- School-based BCBA experience preferred
