School Speech Language Pathologist - Marana, Arizona

Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting high school students with a broad range of speech and language needs. In this full-time, full-school-year contract role, you'll serve as an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist, working across three high school sites. Your primary caseload will be centered at one location with approximately 50 students, while two additional sites will add about 10 students to your total caseload of 60-70. Students present with mild to severe disabilities, including articulation issues and ASD, especially within an adaptive cluster program setting.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Active state licensure and standard certification as required
• Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Previous school-based experience preferred, particularly in high school settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills for managing an itinerant position
• Experience working with a variety of disabilities, from mild articulation to ASD

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with diverse speech and language disabilities
• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed, effectively managing a varied caseload
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in accordance with state and district requirements
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to generalize communication strategies across environments
• Remain agile and adaptable in meeting students' needs within multiple school communities
