Job Description

Qualifications:
- Current and valid Minnesota Special Education Certification (required)
- Degree in Special Education or a related field
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility, empathy, and a student-centered approach
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver personalized instructional plans based on IEPs
- Monitor student progress, collect relevant data, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create an inclusive academic environment
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Provide direct instructional support and interventions to students with diverse abilities
