Job Description
A dedicated pharmacist opportunity is available to support a specialized HIV/AIDS retail pharmacy serving the Orlando, FL area. This 16-week contract role begins on August 24th and includes a comprehensive 2-week training period with the current Pharmacist in Charge. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This position requires a strong background in retail pharmacy operations, with a particular emphasis on dispensing HIV/AIDS medications. Candidates should have at least one year of retail pharmacy experience, and it is critical that HIV/AIDS medication experience is clearly noted on the resume, even if limited.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional patient care and support with a focus on HIV/AIDS patients
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with patients and healthcare providers
- Demonstrating reliability with consistent attendance and punctuality
- Upholding a positive attitude to foster a supportive work environment
- Utilizing QS1 pharmacy software (experience highly preferred)
Candidates must hold a valid Florida pharmacist license to be considered.
