Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise in Occupational Therapy to a dynamic school setting in the greater New Britain area. This contract position runs from late August through November and offers the chance to work across multiple school sites, supporting a diverse student population.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage a district-wide caseload, traveling between sites as needed
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite OT services to students across multiple schools within the district
  • Conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and document progress for students with a variety of needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with staff and families to ensure strategies and accommodations are effective in the classroom setting
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Offer training and resources to staff when appropriate, fostering inclusive learning environments

This is a full-time (35 hours per week), onsite position ideal for an Occupational Therapist seeking variety in their caseload and a collaborative, student-centered atmosphere.
