\nHendrick Medical Center South offers excellent specialty backup, including gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, spine surgery, general surgery, infectious disease, pulmonology, OB/GYN, wound care, interventional radiology (including procedural support for the emergency department). \n

Clinical Responsibilities\n
\nAs a nocturnist, you will...\n

• Manage overnight admissions
\n
• Respond to rapid response events and code situations
\n
• Serve as a primary admitting physician for the ICU
\n
• Round on ICU patients as needed
\n
• Average 6-10 admissions per night
\n

\nCandidates who are comfortable performing bedside procedures are highly preferred.\n
\n
