Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year in Adams, New York.
This position will support K–12 students within one school building and includes a combination of psychoeducational testing, initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and counseling services. The caseload includes students with a variety of needs, including autism, learning disabilities, speech and language disabilities, and deaf and hard of hearing students. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Position Details
Location: Adams, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Part-Time Option: May consider 3–4 days per week onsite
School Year: 2026–2027
Grade Levels: K–12
Buildings: 1
Testing Caseload: Approximately 50 students
Initial Evaluations: Up to 10
Counseling Caseload: Approximately 10 students
Pay: Starting at $45/hour
Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
Complete initial evaluations as needed
Provide counseling services to approximately 10 students
Complete assessment reports and maintain required evaluation timelines
Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and other school-based professionals
Support students with autism, learning disabilities, speech and language disabilities, and hearing-related needs
Maintain accurate documentation and student records
Qualifications
Tier III license or applicable experience required

Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
Ability to effectively manage testing and counseling responsibilities
Experience working with diverse student needs is preferred
