Job Opportunity: Full-Time Dental Hygienist

We are a multi-specialty dental group with a focus on periodontal care, seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. This position is available full-time, with working days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:45 AM to 5 PM. We are also open to candidates interested in a part-time schedule of two days per week.

Position Overview

The role of the Dental Hygienist is vital in enhancing the oral health of our patients through the provision of periodontal treatments and hygiene services. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about dentistry and committed to delivering exceptional care consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' overall oral health by examining the oral cavity for indications of periodontal disease or potential cancers, such as sores, bleeding gums, and oral lesions.
  • Document dental histories and primary concerns; accurately record observations and patient responses for the dental team; maintain records of laboratory procedures and ensure follow-up on results.
  • Implement oral hygiene procedures as outlined in treatment plans from the supervising Dentist, which may include prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planing, debridement, Arestin application, fluoride treatments, and protective sealant applications.
  • Assist in or initiate emergency protocols for unexpected complications during patient treatments.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Enthusiasm for dental hygiene and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Relevant qualifications and licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Working Conditions

This position is based in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care. The role requires adherence to safety and health protocols to ensure a safe treatment space for both staff and patients.
