Vascular Surgeon
Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible vascular surgeon who has completed a fellowship to join our team. This role involves performing a comprehensive range of vascular surgical procedures, including both open and endovascular techniques, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula grafts, and extremity bypass surgeries.
The Vascular Surgery Practice is situated on the hospital campus, providing convenient access to a 12-operating room suite, an interventional/endovascular procedure room, and a 6-operating room ambulatory surgery center. Our vascular surgery team is an integral part of the Heart and Vascular Institute, which currently consists of one vascular surgeon, one cardio-thoracic surgeon, and five cardiologists.

We are a tertiary care facility that includes an employed physician practice and a non-profit foundation. As part of a prestigious network of 40 hospitals, over 90,000 employees, and 700 physician offices, we also manage a health plan serving more than 4 million members.
Our facility, a 400-bed tertiary care hospital, serves a primary service area of over 350,000 residents across six counties in central Pennsylvania. We are recognized as a level 3 trauma center and a thrombectomy-capable interventional stroke center, extending our services to an 18-county region from New York to Maryland. Our hospital specializes in vascular surgery, cardiac surgery, and interventional cardiology, including TAVR and Watchman procedures, and also functions as a regional cancer center. The medical staff comprises over 320 active physicians across various specialties.
