Travel Pharmacist | Mesa, Arizona

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist with a desire to travel and gain valuable experience in Indian Health Service (IHS) settings awaits in Arizona. This 13-week travel assignment offers immersive clinical practice in a unique, culturally rich environment serving Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities.

Location:
Mesa, AZ (with primary work at main campus and satellite clinics within the IHS network; local housing available on the reservation, or option to commute approximately one hour from Flagstaff)

Schedule:

• 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
• Work week: Wednesday through Tuesday
• Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide direct patient care for diverse populations including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients
• Work rotating shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Support pharmacy operations in accordance with organizational policies

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Valid, unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. state, territory, or DC (Arizona license not required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum two years as a registered pharmacist and at least one year in clinical pharmacy practice
• Fingerprinting clearance prior to start date
