As an integral member of the school's support team, you'll primarily focus on students in need of specialized instruction. Preference is given to teachers with experience or certification in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but educators with other relevant Minnesota special education licensures are gladly considered. The successful candidate will be present on-site five days per week for partial days, providing guidance and instruction in a collaborative, resource-rich environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (ASD preferred, but other special education licensures are welcome)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age students with disabilities
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and service providers
- Adaptability and creativity in instructional strategies
