\n As part of the TTUHSC team, in partnership with University Medical Center (UMC), you can expect:

\n
• To provide pediatric surgical and trauma call coverage at UMC Childrens Hospital. University Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center, and the UMC Childrens Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center, making this hospital system the only one in 400 miles to hold both distinctions.
\n
• Call Schedule 14 days on/14 days off.
\n
• To perform pediatric surgical consults and follow-up care in the clinic.
\n
• To provide teaching and training to surgical residents and medical students.
\n

\n Required:
\n MD/DO/MBBS
\n Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery
\n Board Eligible, or in the process of becoming board eligible, in Pediatric Surgery
\n Ability to obtain a TX medical license

\n Preferred:
\n Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery
\n Active TX medical license
