\nYou will be responsible for:\n
\n
\n* Cleaning and maintaining the stations and rail facilities to industry standards within the Inverness area\n
\n
\n* Carrying out station equipment, safety and evaluation checks\n
\n
\n* Ordering and issuing stores and reporting defects to premises\n
\n
\n* Using mechanical cleaning equipment in line with COSHH and rail safety procedures\n
\n
\n* Maintaining accurate records and complying with all rail regulations\n
\n
\n* Vegetation works - use of power tool advantageous, but training will be given\n
\n
\nWhat you bring\n
\n
\n* Good working knowledge of COSHH and general cleaning standards/general safety.\n
\n
\n* Certified competent in mechanical equipment ( although training will be given)\n
\n
\n* Knowledge of specified cleaning and general maintenance.\n
\n
\n* Team player who can demonstrate individual initiative.\n
\n
\n* Conscientious.\n
\n
\n* Ability to work safely and who is committed to providing the highest standard of customer service.\n
\n
\n* Must be able to drive.\n
\n
\nSalary\n
\n
\nTraining salary: £23,816 per annum.\n
\n
\nQualified salary: £35,320 per annum.\n
\n
\nHours of Work\n
\n
\nContracted hours: 35 per week.\n
\n
\nWinter (November – March / 05.00 – 12.00) and Summer (April to October / 06.00 – 13.00) rosters are worked. This post works Monday – Friday, shift working including nightshift and Saturday/Sunday working if required\n

\nCandidates short-listed will be invited to complete on-line assessment. Candidates successful after assessment will be invited to attend a competency-based interview. \nTraining: Training initially involves a 2-day Induction training programme\n
