Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – £53,482– Ripley – Days, Afters, and Nights

Location: RipleySalary: £53,482Shift Pattern: Rotating Days, Afters, and Nights, with an early finish on Friday during the afternoon shift

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a bespoke and well-established manufacturing business in the Ripley area to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical bias). This is a permanent opportunity with an immediate start available.

Maintenance Engineer – Key Responsibilities:\n
    \n
  • \n

    Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance across production equipment

    • \n
  • \n

    Work with PLC-controlled systems on a daily basis (fault finding)

    • \n
  • \n

    Support and mentor apprentices as part of the wider team

    • \n
  • \n

    Minimise equipment downtime and support overall plant efficiency

    • \n
  • \n

    Communicate with other departments to support smooth operations

    • \n
Maintenance Engineer – Requirements:\n
    \n
  • \n

    Level 3 or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)

    • \n
  • \n

    Apprentice trained preferred

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong fault-finding skills, ideally with PLC exposure

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous experience within a manufacturing environment

    • \n
  • \n

    Mechanical or electrical bias considered

    • \n
