Ready to work on projects that are anything but ordinary?Morson is on the lookout for time served Platers to join an exciting long-term project on behalf of our client in Barrow – with 12-month contracts and strong potential to extend.What You'll BringWe're looking for people who know their craft and take pride in their work:Marking-off skills (datums & centrelines)Assembly, fairing & alignment of major componentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience cutting steel (band saws, plasma, etc.)Installation & alignment of key components (e.g. hull penetrations, seating, casings)Pay & Shifts3 on / 4 off daysLocals: £24.12 PAYE | Non-locals: £32.12 PAYENightsLocals: £26.73 PAYE | Non-locals: £34.73 PAYEUmbrella rates availableMinimum 37 hours per weekOvertime available (not guaranteed)33 days holiday incl. bank holidaysAdditional:Trade test & Security Clearance required before startingQualifications:Served and approved ApprenticeshipApply Now:Attach your up-to-date, task-specific CV .
