We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional driver to join their growing team in Manchester.The Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering cable management and electrical distribution products to wholesale customers across the region.Your duties will include:Completing multi-drop deliveries (typically 1215 drops per day )Loading and unloading your vehicle safelyProviding excellent customer service during deliveriesCarrying out manual handling dutiesAssisting in the warehouse when required, including picking and packing ordersCompleting vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulationsWorking Hours 45 hours per weekMonday to Friday (primarily)Early morning startsFlexibility required to meet business needsOccasional overnight stays may be required, paid at an additional £24 per nightWhat We're Looking For Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving LicenceMinimum 2 years' Class 2 multi-drop driving experiencePreferred clean driving licenceA professional, reliable and customer-focused approachPhysically fit, as manual handling is involvedAble to work flexibly when requiredInsurance Requirements: Due to the company's insurance policy, applicants must:Be 25 years of age or overMeet the company's driver insurance criteriaWhat You'll Receive Permanent, full-time employmentSalary of up to £36,800 per annumAn additional £24 per night for overnight staysMonday to Friday working pattern with opportunities for overtime where availableA supportive and friendly working environmentIf you're an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for your next permanent role, we'd love to hear from you.
