The majority of work will be based across the Midlands, with occasional travel to projects further north.The company genuinely invests in its employees, offering long-term career progression, ongoing training, and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive and highly knowledgeable team.The RoleAs a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and supporting fire alarm systems across a range of commercial projects.Alongside your hands-on installation responsibilities, you will act as a point of contact for guidance and technical support on projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure installations are delivered to a high standard.The majority of projects will be located throughout the Midlands, with occasional travel to the North required depending on project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and configure a variety of fire alarm systemsWork with industry-leading manufacturers including Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and ApolloProvide technical guidance and support to engineers and project teamsAct as a key point of contact for installation-related queries and technical issuesRead and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentationEnsure installations are completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standardsFault-find and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioningLiaise with customers, project managers, and other engineers throughout projectsComplete commissioning documentation, handover paperwork, and project reports accuratelySupport the successful delivery of projects from installation through to completionTravel occasionally to projects in the North, although the majority of work will be across the MidlandsRequirementsProven experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systemsStrong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and installation practicesExperience with systems such as Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo would be advantageousAbility to provide technical guidance and support to other engineersGood understanding of relevant fire alarm standards and regulationsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of projectsFull UK Driving LicenceWillingness to travel occasionally to projects further northWhy Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and respected Fire & Security organisation where your technical expertise will be genuinely valued.With the majority of projects based in the Midlands and only occasional travel north, this would suit an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer looking for greater responsibility, technical ownership, and a clear path for career development.To apply, please submit your CV today or contact Courtney Gilgunn for a confidential discussion.SER-INTPBN1_UKTJ
