Description Purpose of the Job: The Technical Business Analyst is a pivotal role in the team. The role holder will be partnering with our business stakeholders, vendors and technology team to ensure that our portfolio of Business Continuity and Incident Management applications is developed and managed in line with both Business and Technology strategies. Responsible For: Building effective relationships with Business Stakeholders, in particular the Product Owners within Business Continuity and Incident Management Understanding BCIM strategy and vision and how this aligns with wider BRR function objectives Understanding GFT priorities/strategy and participating in relevant workstreams to embed these into the team Ensuring our portfolio of global BCIM applications is developed and maintained in line with these strategies (The majority of current BCIM applications are SaaS and hosted on ServiceNow) Completing work related to Technology Controls, supporting the ITSO in ensuring the portfolio of BCIM applications meets these controls Managing the relationship between BCIM Technology and other IT teams within the bank to support our core deliveries Meeting with our vendors when necessary to support our core deliveries and inform our product roadmap Creating user stories to be added to our BCIM backlog Mentoring and coaching the junior BCIM POD team members, helping them to gain the skills and understanding required to fulfill their role in the team Using ServiceNows Strategic Planning Workspace SPW to oversee the work to be completed by the team, making sure tasks and milestones are met ESSENTIAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS (XP, skills, competencies etc.) Essential XP of working in a Global Technology organisation, overseeing product development and management, ideally in a Business Analyst or Technical Business analyst role Exceptional relationship management skills and XP required. A proven history of managing stakeholders at all levels of a Global organization. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
