Banking & Finance (Leveraged Finance) Associate / Senior Associate, 3–6 PQE, £73,000–£85,000, National Law Firm with a Market-Leading Banking Practice, Manchester\n

\n A national law firm with a market-leading banking practice is hiring at 3–6 PQE for its Manchester banking and finance team, with a focus on building leveraged finance expertise and market share across Manchester and the North. The banking team operates as one nationally, so you'd help shape the local team and brand while working within an established structure.\n
\n
\n The work focuses on leveraged finance, corporate financings, sponsor-led transactions and growth lending / venture debt, across the full transaction lifecycle - drafting and negotiating facilities agreements and security documents (LMA and non-LMA form), negotiating intercreditor arrangements, and working alongside the corporate and restructuring teams.\n
\n
\n The team also does a material amount of in-life portfolio work, acting for lenders and borrowers on waivers, re-sets, restatements and bolt-ons - so the role isn't purely transactional.\n
\n
\n The national team acts for borrowers, lenders and investors, holds approved panel status with many of the UK's major banks and financial institutions, and handles work across a wide range of sectors, often multi-jurisdictional.\n
\n
\n With consistent transaction volume, there's early matter responsibility on offer and real scope to take part in client development as the Manchester practice grows.\n
