If you take pride in your craft and want to help shape the next chapter of our growth, we'd love to hear from you.We are looking for a skilled Technical Lead Manager to join one of our dynamic technical teams, such as Passenger, Billing, etc. ResponsibilitiesManaging the team of ~10 developers on a day-to-day basis: participating in planning, project management, delivery, career development for DRs, hiringArchitect M- and L- sized featuresWork closely with cross-functional teams (designers, testers, product managers) to gather requirements and discuss project goalsParticipate in the analysis, design and evaluation of technical requirements together with the teamWrite clean, scalable, and efficient code mainly in Go languageReview and give feedback on code written by peers to ensure consistency, readability, and efficiencyWrite and maintain technical documentation, including software design documents and user guidesRequirements5+ years of experience developing scalable and reliable backend servicesProficiency with Go/Ruby/Python/C++/Java/Kotlin languagesIn-depth knowledge of common databases and messaging systems like PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis/Kafka/RabbitMQ, etc.Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiencyOur current stack: Go microservices, shrinking Ruby monolith, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Thrift, Redis, AWS, Terraform, K8s, Jenkins.What We OfferOffice-based role in West London, four days a week with flexible start and finish times, plus one remote day of your choiceSalary: 130,000 – 160,000Employee stock options planPrivate medical and dental insuranceLife and critical illness coverLatest-generation MacBook Pro and 4k displayMonthly credit towards Wheely journeysCycle to Work schemeProfessional development stipendRelocation support, including visa sponsorship and allowanceAll of your personal information will be collected stored and processed in accordance with Wheely’s Candidate Privacy Notice
