We're recruiting for a brand-new 200-apartment Build to Rent scheme and are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership from day one.

This isn't a traditional lettings role. You'll be the go-to person for residents, overseeing the day-to-day operation and helping shape how the scheme runs.

The role

You'll take ownership of:

• Resident experience, queries & complaints
\n
• Building operations, inspections & compliance
\n
• Maintenance, defects & contractors
\n
• Move-ins, move-outs & apartment readiness
\n
• Tenancy, property & compliance documentation
\n
• Supporting lettings and rental activity
\n
• Working with sales, maintenance and wider property teams
\n
• Improving processes, systems and the resident offering
\n

About you

We're looking for someone who gets BTR and understands what great resident service looks like.

You'll ideally have:

• BTR / residential operations experience
\n
• Strong knowledge of the BTR resident journey
\n
• Experience managing contractors, maintenance & defects
\n
• Good understanding of compliance & H&S
\n
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
\n
• Strong organisational and admin skills
\n
• A tech-savvy, forward-thinking approach
\n
• The confidence to take ownership and make decisions
\n

Experience within a modern, amenity-led BTR environment would be a big plus.
