Control of Work Coordinator Heathrow Airport 6 month contract Negotiable rate 40 hours per week (Mon-Friday) day shifts, with some agreed hours at evenings and weekends. Our Heathrow based fuel operations client is now taking applications for an experienced Control of Works Coordinator. You'll lead the day-to-day Control of Work and contractor management processes, ensuring safe, compliant delivery of works across the aviation fuel tank farms and hydrant systems. You'll be the central point of contact for contracted work on site, driving high standards in process safety, permits, and site assurance. Key responsibilities: Lead the client's Control of Work and Permit to Work (PTW) processes (Level 1 authority) Review method statements, task statements, risk assessments and excavation documentation Coordinate contractor visits, escorts/focal points, and site access planning Manage inductions, records, and verification of contractor certification Oversee lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) controls, permit boards and lock boxes Conduct site checks to confirm works follow approved RAMS; use stop-work authority when required Support HAL permit/service clearance processes and maintain auditable CoW records/KPIsWhat we're looking for: Experience in a process operating environment (e.g., oil & gas, power, pipelines, Waste to Energy, Renewable Energy) Strong working knowledge of PTW systems, method statements and risk assessment processes NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent experience) Confident communicator with strong planning/organisation and IT skills Desirable: NEBOSH/IOSH, P&IDs/drawings, mechanical/electrical exposure, contractor management Apply now with your CV along with a brief cover note as to why you are a good match for the vacancy
