Moat House Care Home is a modern residential, dementia, respite and day care home in Burbage, near Hinckley, Leicestershire. With award winning sensory gardens, five beautifully designed care suites and exceptional facilities, we provide a welcoming home where residents are encouraged to live life to the fullest.Maintenance Assistant Contract £13.71 per hourContracted to 37.5 hours per weekPaid DBS, pension, uniform provided5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)Role OverviewAs Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and comfortable at all times. This is a hands on and varied role where your practical skills and attention to detail will have a direct impact on the environment and daily experience.You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, basic electrical checks, installations and general upkeep. You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, responding promptly to issues and supporting planned maintenance.Working independently and alongside the wider team, you will follow health and safety procedures, support compliance checks and help maintain a well organised, safe and welcoming environment.The woprking days are Monday to Friday.What We Are Looking For Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar roleBasic knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenanceAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyUnderstanding of health and safety proceduresA proactive and practical approachReliable, organised and able to problem solveAbout usMoat House Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family owned, market leading care provider with a strong and growing presence across the United Kingdom.
