We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team for ongoing store delivery work, with Temp to Perm opportunities available.Location: Essex, CM19 1AA Job Type: Ongoing work / Temp to Perm & Ad-Hoc opportunities availablePay Rates:Monday Friday Days: £19.56 per hourMonday Friday Nights: £22.49 per hourSaturday Days: £22.56 per hourSaturday Nights: £25.49 per hourSunday Days: £22.56 per hourSunday Nights: £25.49 per hourBank Holidays: £29.34 per hourOvertime (after 45 hours): £29.34 per hourShift Patterns & Start Times:24/7 operation across Monday to SundayDay and night shifts availableCurrent Temp to Perm positions cover start times between 05:00 and 17:00Temp to Perm rota opportunities availableAd-hoc work also availableOvertime rate applicable after 45 hoursThe Role:Store delivery work involving pallets and roller cagesDrivers must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence but will be required to undertake Class 2 (CAT C) workUp to 8 drops per dayRuns can consist of up to 4 drops, typically completed across 2 runs, or 1 run followed by separate deliveries and collectionsUsing tail lifts and pump trucks to complete deliveriesMoving and manoeuvring roller cagesThis is a physically demanding role and drivers must be comfortable with manual workEnsuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on timeRequirements:Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licenceMust be comfortable and willing to drive Class 2 (CAT C) vehicles as requiredMinimum 3 months' physical HGV driving experienceMaximum 6 points for minor offences onlyValid CPC and Digi CardGood understanding of drivers' hours and regulationsComfortable with manual handling, including pallets and roller cagesReliable and professional approach to workAssessment Process:All drivers will complete an onsite assessment before startingAssessment includes relevant paperwork followed by a road driveSuccessful drivers can select from the available Temp to Perm runs on the rota, with current start times ranging from 05:00 to 17:00Alternatively, drivers can choose to work on an ad-hoc basisFull details of available shifts and runs will be discussed following a successful assessmentWhats on Offer:Excellent hourly rates with enhanced weekend, night and Bank Holiday payOvertime paid after 45 hours24/7 operation offering a variety of shift optionsTemp to Perm opportunities with set runs availableAd-hoc work for drivers looking for additional flexibilityOngoing work with an established clientTo apply, please submit your CV or contact our team for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
