Role : Operations Manager (Hard FM)Location: Dale Barracks, Chester, covering 6 additional sites within a 30-mile radiusJob Type: Full Time, PermanentSalary: £38,000 £42,000The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager (Hard FM) to be based at Dale Barracks in Chester, responsible for overseeing the effective, compliant and timely delivery of maintenance and response works across a multi-site portfolio.As Operations Manager, you will ensure all works are delivered in accordance with statutory legislation, MOD Mandatory requirements, and relevant Health & Safety and Environmental standards.You will play a key role in coordinating operational teams and contractors, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.Key Responsibilities Oversee the effective and timely delivery of planned, reactive and response maintenance works.Ensure all works comply with statutory legislation, mandatory requirements, Health & Safety and Environmental standards.Allocate suitably qualified and experienced operatives to relevant tasks.Ensure operatives have the correct equipment and resources to safely complete their work.Monitor supply chain and subcontractor performance to ensure agreed KPIs are achieved.Review Risk Assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place.Ensure all completed and ongoing tasks are accurately recorded against assets within the CAFM system.Monitor progress of works and ensure all relevant documentation is completed and maintained.Ensure compliance with Legionella and Asbestos management plans.Take on Responsible Person duties where required.Carry out inspections and audits to maintain high standards of compliance and service delivery.Project manage a variety of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) tasks from inception through to completion.Work closely with operational teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery across multiple sites.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in Hard FM, M&E maintenance or reactive maintenance operations , together with experience managing subcontractors across multiple sites.This role would suit someone currently working as a Hard FM Manager, Operations Manager or Works Coordinator within a reactive or multi-site maintenance environment.Essential Requirements HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering .Strong IT skills.Experience managing Hard FM subcontractors across multiple sites.Strong understanding of maintenance and reactive works environments.Relevant M&E background and qualifications.Full UK driving licence.Ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance .Please note: Candidates without a relevant M&E background and qualifications will not be considered for this position.What We Offer £38,000 £42,000 salary6% employer matched pension contributionSingle private medical coverLife assurance up to 2x base salaryUse of a pool vehicle25 days annual leaveTraining and development opportunitiesSupportive senior leadership teamVaried and interesting work across a multi-site estateApply NowIf you are an experienced Hard FM or M&E professional looking for your next opportunity and have the qualifications and experience required to manage a multi-site maintenance operation, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today to find out more about this Operations Manager (Hard FM) opportunity.TPBN1_UKTJ
