Location: Milton Keynes MK12 Pay: £16.92 per hour PAYE (approx. £33,000 annual equivalent) Hours: 06:0014:00 AM shift only Workplace: Mechanical Treatment Plant, Milton Keynes Waste Recovery Park Start: ASAP

We are recruiting for an experienced Front End Loader (FEL) Driver to work at a busy waste recovery and mechanical treatment facility in Milton Keynes. A valid NPORS Front End Loader qualification is essential for this position.

## The Role

\n

You will operate a Front End Loader to support the day-to-day processing and movement of waste materials throughout the Mechanical Treatment Plant.
\n Responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Operating a Front End Loader safely to move, load and manage waste streams.
\n
• Creating and maintaining waste pockets for processing equipment and external contractors.
\n
• Maintaining a consistent material feed to support plant operations.
\n
• Supporting plant start-up and shutdown activities.
\n
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects.
\n
• Keeping equipment in a safe working condition.
\n
• Assisting with housekeeping and clearing operational areas when required.
\n
• Maintaining safe access routes throughout the facility.
\n
• Following all site health & safety and traffic management procedures.
\n
• Working closely with Operations and Maintenance teams and external contractors.
\n

## Essential Requirements

Valid NPORS Front End Loader qualification essential. Previous experience operating a Front End Loader. Good understanding of site health & safety requirements. Ability to work independently and follow operational instructions. Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently work the 06:0014:00 shift.\n

Previous experience within waste management, recycling, heavy industrial, aggregate or similar environments would be advantageous.
