We're recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers in Witney to join a busy local waste and recycling operation. This is an active driving role working as part of a crew, completing local collection rounds across the area.

With £16.62 per hour, early starts and local routes, this could be a great opportunity for drivers looking for regular work closer to home.

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

• Driving a Class 2 refuse/recycling vehicle on local collection rounds
\n
• Working alongside a crew to complete daily routes
\n
• Carrying out vehicle checks before starting your shift
\n
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently
\n
• Assisting the crew with collections when required
\n
• Providing a professional service while out in the local community
\n

• £16.62 per hour
\n
• 05:30 starts
\n
• Local routes around Witney and the surrounding area
\n
• No long-distance trunking or nights away
\n
• Active role – ideal if you don't want to spend all day sitting in a cab
\n
• Regular work with an established operation
\n
• Opportunity to build consistent Class 2 driving experience
\n

You'll need:

• Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
\n
• Valid CPC
\n
• Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• A reliable and professional approach
\n
• Good awareness of Health & Safety
\n
• Willingness to work as part of a team and assist with collections
\n

This isn't your typical Class 2 driving job. You'll be out and about locally, working as part of a team and getting an early start to your day rather than spending hours travelling up and down the motorway.
