Vehicle Technician Salary: £35,000 per year
Diagnostic / Master Technician Salary: £45,000+ per year

Car Dealer Recruitment has clients in the Harrow Area looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians and Master Technicians to join a busy and growing automotive workshops in the Harrow area.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for technicians at different stages of their career, from experienced Level 2 technicians through to highly skilled diagnostic and master technicians.

Vehicle Technician £35,000\n

For the Vehicle Technician position, applicants should have:

\n

\n
• \n

  Minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent

\n
• \n

  At least 2 years' practical workshop experience

\n
• \n

  Good general mechanical knowledge

\n
• \n

  Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs

\n
• \n

  Ability to work confidently and efficiently within a busy workshop

\n
• \n

  Full UK driving licence preferred

\n

\n

Typical duties will include:

\n

\n
• \n

  Routine servicing and maintenance

\n
• \n

  Brakes, suspension and steering repairs

\n
• \n

  Clutch and general mechanical repairs

\n
• \n

  Vehicle inspections and health checks

\n
• \n

  MOT preparation

\n
• \n

  Identifying mechanical faults

\n
• \n

  Using diagnostic equipment where appropriate

\n

Diagnostic / Master Technician £45,000+\n

We are also looking for experienced Diagnostic Technicians and Master Technicians capable of carrying out more advanced fault finding and complex repairs.

\n

Applicants should ideally have:

\n

\n
• \n

  Level 3 Automotive qualification or equivalent

\n
• \n

  Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience

\n
• \n

  Confidence using modern diagnostic equipment

\n
• \n

  Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults

\n
• \n

  Ability to resolve complex vehicle issues

\n
• \n

  Strong technical knowledge across a range of vehicles

\n

\n

Previous Master Technician accreditation would be advantageous, although strong Diagnostic Technicians are also encouraged to apply.
