\n\nWorking: The role offers flexible & hybrid working. It would be beneficial to be on-site 3 days a week, depending on the project needs and working remotely other days.

\nThe Electronics Engineer is one of a team of engineers providing services in support of analogue, digital, and computer based safety systems.
\n-
\nThe Electronics Engineer will be joining a team that has a diverse scope from requirements through to the design and maintenance of systems and products.
\n\n-
\nRole Responsibilities:
\n- \n

Support discussions of proposed solutions with customer representatives to agree the optimum solution in terms of cost, timescale and ease of implementation
\n - \n
Help to establish a number of customer solutions
\n - \n
Detailed analysis of specific aspects of existing equipment to establish requirements for replacement or refurbishment
\n - \n
Liaison with suppliers regarding supply and support of third party equipment
\n - \n
Carrying out specified design and development work in own area of competence
\n - \n
Support installation and commissioning of equipment on the customer's site
\n - \n
Supporting good customer relationships by presenting a professional engineering approach to the work
\n - \n
Supporting the teams engineering capabilities with individual skill and determination
\n - \n
Developing personal engineering capability across the safety system and instrumentation areas
\n - \n
Produce technical reports, clearly identifying the preferred course of action and why after analysis of legacy designs
\n
Skill and Experience;
\n- \n
- \n
Able to demonstrate skill and experience in electronic/electrical equipment design or maintenance, preferably in a regulated industry
\n - \n
Degree educated in Electronics Engineering or demonstrable industry experience
\n - \n
Demonstrable ability in electrical work and/or analogue and digital electronics using conventional logic families and programmable logic
\n - \n
Appropriate technical qualifications in specific areas of electrical or electronic design or in instrumentation and control
\n - \n
Ability to communicate effectively within peer group and with manager / team leader
\n - \n
Capable of producing good oral and written communications
\n
Desirable Experience;
\n- \n
- \n
Experience in the Defence or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
\n - \n
Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
\n - \n
